just got home from another successful day of tossin` plastics to weededges for walleye`s and managed to boat 2 limits of walleye (all out of the slot size limit), so all we`re released to fight another day. Most fish we`re in the 9-12 foot range holding on scattered weed strands of millfoil and cabbage weed. water temps we`re in the 63-66 degree range. most of the better fish needed long nose pliers to remove the jigs due to the aggressive bite. Guess we`re eating chicken on the bbq tonight instead of walleye...but it worked out pretty good for a high impact show on using the new St.Croix eyecon walleye rods.
started tossin` jigs around 6 am and had the boat back on the trailer by 11:30 am...not bad at all.
